Ashanti Shequoiya, who was born Douglas, is popularly known Ashanti. Ashanti was birthed October 13 1980, in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti began her professional career in the teen years, and was eventually signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. Ashanti made an appearance on Fat Joe's What's Luv? song and Ja Rule's Always On Time track. Both of them turned into huge smashes. It was the first time for a female artist to have the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at first place and the track What's Luv? It was the first female artist to have the Top two spots on the The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States With Foolish as number one and What's Love? The release was made on Murder Inc. on June 3, 2008. Hey Baby After the Club was released on 16 October to radio and digital stores.
